Urban Adventures - Visual Art Work

I have two and a half years of experience as a graphic designer, having worked at two different companies in Hong Kong: Tutor Circle and Sky Big Group Holding Limited. These two companies have completely different business operations. One is an online tutoring agency platform, where my primary responsibilities included transforming small-scale tutoring advertisements in the form of graphics and animations into UX/UI and product designs.

 

During my time at the second company, a restaurant group that operates a range of Japanese restaurants and provides a wide selection of sakes to restaurants, supermarkets, and sake resellers, I was able to develop both my technical and interpersonal skills. I was responsible for creating concept designs for various types of marketing materials for 28 restaurants and the company itself. This included designing online materials such as the Sky Big Company Wix website, banners, Facebook posts, GIF animations, and videos. In addition, I was responsible for ensuring the output quality of the artworks for menus, leaflets, and posters, which provided me with valuable knowledge in print production.

 

"Design is a tool that imbues vitality and joy into everyday life." This sentence originates from a book called "設計的哲學". I believe that everything in the world requires design, and my passion lies in graphic design. This is because I possess a strong sense of design aesthetics and I value the purpose and meaning behind every design. I take pleasure in the process of creating unexpected and delightful works. Regarding my personal qualities,

I am a diligent, modest, and proactive designer who is always eager to learn and improve. I am not afraid to seize opportunities for personal and professional development. And I have a strong passion for graphic design, particularly typography and layout design.
